Goals: Improve flexibility, strength, fitness level, reduce BMI

We have met the goals we set in terms of BMI and weight. The flexibility and strength are continually worked on

Chris has been motivating and is always encouraging a healthier lifestyle, in addition to the physical goals we work on. He models healthy behavior and shares ways he has found that are beneficial to his own life. He definitely “walks the walk.” He’s always learning something about health and fitness and sharing that during our sessions.

Goals: Maintain fitness, improve flexibility, core strength, posture, balance, stamina, and overall health.

Training Focus: Balance training, core strength, improving overall muscle strength, stretching to relax muscles, building stamina, and staying fit.

I’ve been training with Chris for almost 7 years, and I believe he is one of the most experienced and committed trainers around. I started training once a week and immediately enjoyed the variety and challenge he brings to every session.

Chris is focused on helping me achieve my goals and makes every workout both challenging and enjoyable. Over the years my fitness has improved noticeably. I’m now able to complete more sit-ups and core exercises, lift progressively heavier weights, and push myself harder throughout each session. I actually look forward to my workouts.

What I appreciate most is that Chris always ensures my technique is correct, which helps prevent injuries. He is also extremely reliable and punctual—always set up and ready to start on time with a well-planned routine.

I thoroughly enjoy working out with him and would highly recommend Chris to anyone looking to improve their fitness.

Goals: overall well being

I highly recommend Christopher Casaus as a personal trainer! I had the pleasure of training with Chris for close to 8 years now, and his dedication to my fitness journey was fantastic.

What sets Chris apart is his focus on overall well-being. Unlike many trainers who might just focus on "bulking up," Chris takes a truly holistic approach to health. He consistently provided well-structured, varied workout routines—incorporating everything from TRX and resistance bands to Swiss ball core work—tailored to my specific progression. He also tracked my measurements and provided essential meal and hydration suggestions to ensure I was healthy inside and out.

Beyond his technical expertise, training sessions with Chris is something I truly look forward to. He is incredibly easy to talk to, and we frequently ended up having great conversations about absolutely anything "under the moon." That level of rapport made the hard work feel like a shared journey rather than just a workout.

If you are looking for a knowledgeable, committed, and supportive trainer who cares about your total health and is a joy to work with, I can’t recommend Chris enough!

Goals: Initially, my goal was to build overall strength, improve my fitness, and establish consistency with training. Over time, those goals evolved to include injury prevention, improved mobility, longevity, and maintaining a sustainable, low-impact lifestyle.

Chris has a rare ability to truly listen and understand his clients. From the start, he tailored my program to align with my goals, limitations, and lifestyle. As my priorities shifted over the years, his approach adapted seamlessly—integrating strength progression, mobility work, recovery strategies, and nutrition guidance. His diverse certifications and depth of knowledge in both strength training and nutrition have created a well-rounded, highly effective program designed specifically for me.

Chris stands out not only for his technical expertise, but for his ability to listen and adapt. He has continuously evolved my training as my goals have changed, keeping it both effective and engaging. His knowledge of strength training and nutrition adds tremendous value, but what truly sets him apart is his mindset—he’s curious, always learning, and generous in sharing that knowledge. Training with Chris has been one of the best long-term investments I’ve made in my health.

Goals: Increase balance, strength training, stretching and mobility.

Chris helps me focus on upper and lower body strength training protocols mobility and recovery. Foam rolling and stretching is an integral part of the recovery aspect of the workout and is encouraged as homework.

Chris is very knowledgeable not just about fitness, but also about recovery and the appropriate mobility routines to support it. He selects appropriate exercises that help me with my goals, while considering my health history. Chris does more than just train me—he educates me on healthy nutrition, strength training, flexibility, coordination, balance, and fall prevention. His movement assessments, like the squat assessment , single leg balance test , and shoulder mobility tests, allow him to design workouts specifically for my needs. Every session is thoughtful and personalized. He is an outstanding trainer.

Goals: (What you want to improve, work toward) My goal is general overall physical health and coordination. I want to remain physically active (Golf , hiking, etc) and be able to fully participate in life.  I need to improve balance, overall strength and flexibility.

Chris has me on a structured three day per week full body training program that works my core, arms, shoulders, chest, and legs including my glutes, thighs, hamstrings, and calves. We also do periodic weigh ins and measurements to track my progress. Because I have nerve issues in my feet, Chris incorporates a variety of balance exercises into my training. Over time, I’ve clearly improved both my balance and overall strength.

Chris is a very careful and thoughtful trainer. His attention to detail makes him a great fit for someone like me. I have always been athletic and want to stay very active as I age without getting injured. Chris places a strong emphasis on proper posture and technique during every exercise to help prevent injury. He is extremely well read on physical health and the science of exercise, lifestyle, and diet. Over the years, working with Chris has improved not only my physique but also my approach to overall wellness. I highly recommend Chris to anyone looking for serious training focused on long term health.

Goals: Build lean muscle mass, improve bone density, balance, mobility, flexibility, golf swing, and biking performance.

Since training with Chris, I’ve lost body fat, gained lean muscle, and made meaningful progress in my overall body composition. My balance, mobility, and range of motion have all improved, especially in my hips, hamstrings, quads, and ankles. I’m now able to bike for longer periods with less stiffness, and my golf swing has improved. Chris’s systematic, individualized approach to training has made exercise both effective and enjoyable.

Goals: Improve hip mobility, reduce stiffness and pain, improve balance, build functional strength, and support body recomposition.

“I have trained with Chris for 5 years, and at 63, I especially appreciate his ability to adapt training to the needs of an aging body. Before working with him, I really struggled with hip mobility, and it affected everyday activities like walking, sitting, and going up and down the stairs. I also developed arthritis in my hip and stiffness from age, and sitting too long left me feeling stiff. Through targeted stretching, flexibility work, and strengthening the muscles around my hips, I’ve seen a real improvement in my mobility, balance, and overall comfort. My pain has gone down, and my quality of life has improved. His approach is thoughtful, encouraging, and personalized. I’ve also noticed positive changes in my strength, body composition, and confidence with exercise. What I appreciate most is his knowledge of how to modify weight training and stretching for an older adult. I would highly recommend him to others, especially older adults, who want a more specialized, tailored workout than what you typically get at a box gym.

Goals: Improve overall fitness, restore functional ability, and feel confident in daily movement

When I retired from a long career at a sedentary desk job, I realized my overall fitness had declined significantly. I was cautious with everyday movements—lifting, twisting, or even turning too quickly—because it often led to discomfort or pain that could last for days. I may have been “active,” but I was far from truly fit. My goal was to restore my body so I could move freely without fear of pain or limitation.

I met Chris shortly after retiring. I was initially skeptical and concerned about working with a trainer who might not understand the needs of someone my age. However, Chris immediately stood out with his individualized approach. His thorough assessments and precise measurements gave me confidence that the program would be tailored specifically to me.

Once we began training, those concerns quickly disappeared. The workouts were exactly what I needed and led to consistent improvements in my strength, flexibility, mobility, and endurance. Each session—whether focused on arms, legs, core, back, or hips—produced noticeable, positive results. I’ve continued to progress year after year, and I appreciate that it truly feels like a collaborative, team effort.

After five years, I’ve exceeded my expectations. I’ve built muscle, improved flexibility, and am now pain-free—even after long days of home improvement projects, gardening, or traveling. I feel capable and confident in my body again, without limitations.

What stands out most about Chris is not just his coaching, but his commitment to learning and sharing knowledge. His passion for whole-life fitness—both physical and mental—is evident, yet never overwhelming. It’s engaging, thoughtful, and genuinely beneficial. It’s clear he studies deeply, and his clients reap the rewards.

I truly value my time training with Chris and look forward to continuing. I would confidently recommend him to anyone, regardless of age, fitness level, or goals.
